What kind of humans does the future need us to become?
Learning to Be Human is a podcast about that question.

The young people born today will spend most of their lives in a world we can barely imagine. They will grow up alongside intelligent machines, extraordinary scientific breakthroughs and technologies that are changing what it means to learn, work and even be human. Many of the industries they will enter, the opportunities they will pursue and the challenges they will inherit do not yet exist.
Every generation prepares its young people for the future. The challenge facing this generation is that we are preparing them for a future no one can fully see. At the very moment we are trying to determine what young people need to know, artificial intelligence is transforming the value of knowledge itself.
For most of human history, intelligence was humanity's scarcest resource. Schools, economies and institutions were built around its creation, distribution and accumulation. For the first time in history, intelligence is becoming abundant.
As machines learn to write, create, diagnose and decide, a new question emerges:
What does the next generation need to become when intelligence is no longer what makes us unique?
Our moral responsibility is not to stop the future, but to shape it… to channel our destiny in humane directions and to ease the trauma of transition.

The Conversations
The questions we are asking.
Through conversations with educators, scientists, entrepreneurs, philosophers and extraordinary thinkers, the podcast explores the capabilities that may matter most in the century ahead: judgement, creativity, presence, agency, belonging, wisdom and our capacity to imagine and shape a better future.
Because this is not simply a conversation about technology. It is a conversation about human evolution and about the kind of people the next generation will need to become in order to inherit the future well.
What does it mean to learn to be human in an age of intelligent machines?
What capabilities will help young people flourish in a future we cannot yet imagine?
How do we prepare the next generation for a world changing faster than any generation has experienced?
What kind of future are we hoping to create for those who inherit it?
Because the future will depend not only on what we build.
It will depend on who we become.
Learning to Be Human is a podcast for the educators, parents and leaders helping shape the next generation and the future they will inherit.
For those who recognise that, in different ways, we are all custodians of the next generation.
Different perspectives.
Shared responsibility.
One future.
